Activision Blizzard, vice president of franchise communications and social media, Beverly Jackson, will join Twitter on January 4th as vp, global brand and consumer marketing.
Jackson will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Leslie Berland, overseeing the brands, consumer product marketing, global consumer marketing and the social teams for the social network.
While at Activision Blizzard, she worked on iconic game titles such as Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk Pro Skater to help build fan awareness and engagement.
She previously led social media and content strategy at MGM Resorts International, where her team created and campaigned for brands such as Esports Programmers, the National Basketball Association Summer League, National Football League, National Hockey League, and National Basketball Association Partnerships with these were formed by the Women’s National Basketball Association.
Jackson also held similar leadership roles at Yahoo and The Grammy Awards.
