IMVU relaunches as Collectively Labs, raises $35 million

IMVU restarted as Together Labs, raising $ 35 million from Structural Capital, NetEase, and other investors. Together Labs has also created a new division called WithMe Entertainment, which will focus on user-generated content, including games.

The company launched VCoin on January 12, after the Securities and Exchange Commission approved a plan in November to enable payments in the virtual world via a blockchain-based cryptocurrency.
