Twitter introduced fleets earlier this week. The missing tweets resemble posts on Instagram or Facebook Stories. The fleet feature allows users to create new fleets from scratch and share the regular tweets (including their own) of users in fleets. Our guide will show you how to share a normal tweet in a fleet.
Note: These screenshots were taken in the Twitter application on iOS.
Step 1: Tap the Share button under the tweet you want to share across a fleet.
Step 2: Tap on “Share in a fleet”.
Step 3: Twitter assumes that you want to enter your own opinion about the fleet, so it opens your device’s keyboard and shows you a text entry box. You can now enter something about the fleet, but you don’t have to. Tap Done when you are ready to continue.
Step 4: From there you can continue to work on your fleet as usual. When you’re done, tap Fleet in the top right corner of the post to share your fleet.
