Books on the desk in bright modern business design office
Inspections at any time of the day. For me it can be early in the morning or when I have coffee in the afternoon. These books deserve a place in your living room where they can be easily accessed and flipped through at all times.
1. Things You Should Know: An incomplete compendium of the most interesting things
I was so impressed with the wide range of subjects and the deep, detailed knowledge that is shown in this book, which is based on one of my favorite podcasts of all time.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but this book is all about wolves. Nice bonus? With every purchase, the publisher plants a tree for you.
3. The 10 Greatest Conspiracies of All Time: Unraveling History’s Unsolved Mysteries
One of my favorite authors is back with a whimsical book on conspiracies, explained primarily through artifacts, photos, and illustrations.
4. Virtual Cities: An Atlas and How to Explore Video Game Cities
What an incredible account of the cities in video games over the past few years including one of my favorite games called Half-Life 2 and the Fallout series.
5. The New York Encyclopedia
What I like about this tape is that the writing is fun and creative. I don’t even live in New York, but I appreciate all of the detailed summaries of people, places, and things.
